IOWA CITY, Iowa – Former Iowa great Ladell Betts joined the All Hawkeyes/KCJJ Podcast Monday morning, July 20, 2015. The school’s second all-time leading rusher talked about being recruited by and playing for the legendary Hayden Fry and the transition to coach Kirk Ferentz taking over the program. He talked about Bob Sanders hitting him in practice and his nine-year NFL career. He also updated the guys on his retirement and what it’s like being a high school football coach in South Florida and the possibility of sending some of his players the Hawkeyes’ way.
