Video Story: Tevaun Smith Updates WR Position
IOWA CITY, Iowa – Tevaun Smith continued his preparations for his final college football season Saturday during the team’s annual Kids Day practice here at Kinnick Stadium. Iowa’s leading returning wide receiver even mixed in some kick-off return duty on this sweltering August afternoon.
Smith said he requested a chance to add the assignment. He and Coach Kirk Ferentz said the selection process for that job still is being held.
Smith said he’d welcome the chance to contribute in another phase of the Hawkeye attack. He also understands that it’s a competition to find the guy who can most help the team.
