IOWA CITY, Iowa – The AllHawkeyes.com and KCJJ podcast welcomed Casey Beathard and Albert Young.

The father of Iowa starting quarterback C.J. Beathard, Casey Beathard talked about the perception that he played a role in last year’s quarterback controversy with Jake Rudock. He also spoke about C.J.’s recruitment, his rise up the depth chart and the family history with football.

Young told the story of of his conversation with Barry Alvarez when he de-committed from Wisconsin to pledge to Iowa, his time as a Hawkeye and in the NFL and what he’s up to these days.
