IOWA CITY, Iowa – Fans expressed concern when they heard star Iowa cornerback Desmond King would be returning kicks and punts this season. They were worried he’d sustain an injury.

King’s list of responsibilities was put to the test Saturday against Illinois State. Not only was it a formidable, temperatures rose to well above 100 degrees on the Kinnick Stadium turf.
