IOWA CITY, Iowa – For the third time in as many weeks, Minnesota played a highly-ranked opponent on Saturday. And for the third game in a row, the Golden Gophers came up short.

The latest setback came 40-35 to No. 5 Iowa. It followed losses to Michigan and Ohio State.
