Hawkeye Women Off to Austin for Holiday
IOWA CITY, Iowa – The Iowa women’s basketball team’s stamina will be tested. By Saturday, the Hawkeyes will have played four games in seven days.
Iowa tipped things off with 80-65 win at Northern Iowa on Sunday. It represented the Hawkeyes largest margin of victory against the Panthers in Cedar Falls since a 90-55 victory in 1978-79.
Tuesday, Iowa (4-0) leaves for the Lone Star Classic in Austin, Texas. The Hawkeyes will play Wright State on Thursday, Thanksgiving, No. 20 George Washington on Friday and Houston on Saturday.
