IOWA CITY, Iowa – The Iowa men’s basketball team will try to end an 18-game losing streak against Michigan State at the Breslin Center when the two nationally-ranked opponents meet on Thursday.

Iowa coach Fran McCaffery talks about the challenge of facing the Spartans, who should be at full strength with the return of star senior guard Denzel Valentine from a knee injury. Iowa hasn’t won at Michigan State since a 96-90 overtime victory in 1993.

Senior guard Anthony Clemmons, who is from Lansing, Mich., also talks about facing the Spartans in his hometown.
