AH-TV Iowa players talk about sweeping Purdue and being 7-0
IOWA CITY, Iowa – The Iowa men’s basketball team made history on Sunday by defeating Purdue 83-71 before a sellout crowd of 15,400 at Carver-Hawkeye Arena.
Iowa is 7-0 in the Big Ten for just the second time in school history. Ralph Miller’s legendary "Six Pack" squad did it the first time in 1970 when it finished 14-0 in the Big Ten, winning the conference title outright.
Senior forward Jarrod Uthoff led four Iowa players in double figures on Sunday with 22 points. He has scored at least 20 points in five of the last six games.
