AH-TV: Brian Ferentz updates the progress of the offensive line
IOWA CITY, Iowa – Iowa offensive line coach Brian Ferentz is always a good interview and Wednesday was no exception.
He met with the media to address a number of topics related to spring practice.
The son of Iowa head coach Kirk Ferentz raved about Sean Welsh’s versatility and explained why Boone Myers has moved from tackle to guard. Brian Ferentz also gave an update on injured sophomore James Daniels and talked about the challenge of replacing all-Big Ten center Austin Blythe and all-Big Ten guard Jordan Walsh, both of whom exhausted their eligibility last season.
Sean Welsh is playing center this spring after already having played both guard and tackle for the Hawkeyes.
Here are several interviews with Brian Ferentz addressing different topics. He starts by acknowledging the multi-tasking now performed by reporters during press conferences.
