Iowa basketball adds another recruit in Indiana forward Jack Nunge
IOWA CITY, Iowa – Jack Nunge spent part of his childhood living in Coralville and just a few miles from the University of Iowa campus.
The Indiana high school senior now plans to return for college.

Nunge announced Sunday on Twitter that he had verbally committed to the Iowa men’s basketball team. He took an official visit to Iowa this weekend.
The 6-foot-9 Nunge is the second high school senior to announce his commitment to Iowa this weekend. Center Luka Garza announced Saturday on Twitter that he would attend Iowa.
Garza also was in Iowa City this weekend on an unofficial visit.
Nunge was expected to visit Creighton next weekend, but he apparently saw enough during his official visit to Iowa City to make a decision.
Iowa now has three players committed to its 2017 recruiting class, the third being Iowa City West guard Connor McCaffery, who is the son of Iowa men’s basketball coach Fran McCaffery.
However, there is only one scholarship available at this time in the 2017 class. Connor McCaffery said he would consider joining the team as a walk-on in order to make a scholarship available.
