AH-TV: Fran McCaffery talks about victory over Savannah State
IOWA CITY, Iowa – The Iowa men's basketball team got points from unexpected places on Sunday in a 116-84 win over Savannah State.
Freshman forward Cordell Pemsl and sophomore guard Brady Ellingson combined to score 41 points in 35 minutes of action. Pemsl also added nine rebounds while Ellingson shot 4-of-6 from three-point range.
Iowa head coach Fran McCaffery talks below about the ups and downs both players have experienced and how he's expected this from Pemsl and Ellingson ever since the two stepped on campus.
