AH-TV: Iowa players discuss win over Illinois
CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – Iowa literally ran its way to a 28-0 victory over Illinois on Saturday, led by senior running back LeShun Daniels' 159 yards on 26 carries. Daniels also added two second half touchdowns. It was Iowa's first shutout against a Big Ten opponent since defeating Minnesota 12-0 in 2009, and first against any opponent since defeating Ball State 45-0 in 2010.
Junior running back Akrum Wadley added 82 yards on 13 carries and a touchdown.
Redshirt freshman offensive lineman Levi Paulsen made his first career start on Saturday in place of the injured Ike Boettger as Iowa amassed 262 total rushing yards.
