AH-TV: Fran McCaffery looks ahead to Illinois game
IOWA CITY, Iowa – Iowa head coach Fran McCaffery met with the media on Thursday and addressed a number of topics including Saturday's game against Illinois and the White Out that will be held in honor of Kenny Arnold.
Iowa fans are encouraged to purchase Arnold's number 30 T-shirt with all of the proceeds going to help Arnold, who has suffered from the effects of a brain tumor for over 30 years.
Arnold was a starting guard on Iowa's 1980 Final Four team. Several of his teammates, including star point guard Ronnie Lester, will attend Saturday's game at Carver-Hawkeye Arena.
The Hawkeyes also hope to honor Arnold with a victory against an Illinois team that defeated Iowa 76-64 on Jan. 25 in Champaign, Ill.
Here are several video interviews from McCaffery's Thursday press conference.
