AH TV: Iowa players talk about 21-19 loss to No. 4 Penn State
IOWA CITY, Iowa – Shock probably doesn't begin to describe the way in which Iowa lost 21-19 against Penn State on Saturday night at Kinnick Stadium.
Iowa trailed for much of the second half until senior running back Akrum Wadley scampered around the left side for a 35-yard touchdown to make it 19-15 with 1:42 remaining.
Penn State promptly marched down the field and scored the game-winning touchdown as time expired.
Iowa surrendered 358 all-purpose yards to Penn State star running back Saquon Barkley but made stops when it counted until the final play of the game.
Iowa players said they must flush the loss and begin to look ahead to next Saturday's game at Michigan State.
