AH TV: Iowa players react to senior day loss to Purdue
IOWA CITY, Iowa – For the second straight week, the Iowa football team struggled to get anything going on offense.
Just two weeks after blowing out then third-ranked Ohio State 55-24, Iowa has now lost back-to-back games.
Saturday's 258 yard output in a 24-15 loss to Purdue was a vast improvement over its 66 yard performance against Wisconsin, but it was still not enough on senior day in Iowa City.
Iowa fell to 3-5 in Big Ten play and 6-5 overall.
Iowa's senior class has totaled 33 wins, including 20 inside Kinnick Stadium, and has qualified for a bowl game every year.
Iowa heads to Nebraska next week on Black Friday for its final trophy game of the season.
