AH TV: Iowa players react to 56-14 blowout of Nebraska
LINCOLN, Neb. – The Iowa football team must like playing in Nebraska's Memorial Stadium.
Iowa defeated Nebraska on Friday 56-14 for the third consecutive season. Iowa also has won the last three games played in Lincoln.
Senior running back Akrum Wadley rushed for 159 yards and three touchdowns on 19 carries to become just the fourth player in Iowa history with back-to-back 1,000-yard rushing seasons.
Iowa rushed for 313 yards as a team and held Nebraska to just 67 yards on the ground on a blustery Black Friday.
Iowa improved to 7-5 on the season and 4-5 in Big Ten play while Nebraska fell to 4-8 on the season and 3-6 in Big Ten play.
