IOWA CITY, Iowa – The Iowa football team's matchup with Wisconsin on Saturday night holds significant implications in this season's Big Ten West race.
The game could also go a long way in determining what the future holds for Iowa's next three recruiting classes.
The Hawkeyes are expected to host over 50 recruits at Kinnick Stadium on Saturday night, one of them being three-star 2020 defensive end Logan Jones.
Jones, a native of Council Bluffs, Iowa, is looking forward to his first game day visit in Iowa City.
"I've been up there a couple of times and loved every bit of it," Jones said. "I can only imagine how game day will be. I'm super pumped to watch the game."
The 6-foot-3,252-pound Jones also is excited to get to know the Iowa coaching staff better and to participate in the Hawkeyes newest tradition, the Wave.
"I'm really excited to do it," Jones said. "It's a really special thing they're doing up there."
