IOWA CITY, Iowa – Don Patterson made his usual Monday appearance and spent 45 minutes at the beginning of this 90-minute podcast breaking down the Iowa football team's 31-28 victory over Nebraska.

Hayden Fry's former offensive coordinator also addressed speculation about Iowa tight ends Noah Fant and T.J Hockenson possibly leaving school early to enter the 2019 NFL Draft.

Iowa finished the regular season with an 8-4 record and is now waiting to learn its bowl destination.

The Holiday Bowl in San Diego is considered the most likely destination, but nothing is certain at this stage.

Patterson was a member of the Iowa coaching staff for the previous three Holiday Bowl appearances in 1986, 1987 and 1991. He shared some of his memories from those games as well during the podcast.
