Missouri receiver D’Vontae Key excited about first scholarship offer from Iowa

IOWA CITY, Iowa – Raytown, Mo. receiver D'Vontae Key took a big step toward his dream of playing college football on Wednesday.
The 2020 prospect received his first scholarship offer from Iowa after a visit from the Iowa coaching staff.
"I was just at a loss for words," Key said. "It felt amazing."
The 5-foot-11, 165-pound Key said that the Iowa offer will always have special meaning to him.
"I will always remember this offer because them being the first to offer," Key said. "This shows how much they were impressed by my film and shows they think I would be a great fit at their school."
Key has yet to take an unofficial visit to Iowa but is eager to learn more about what the school can offer him on and off the field.
"I’m looking forward to meeting all of the coaches and viewing the campus and learning about what they provide academically," Key said.
Key also said that he has received interest from Iowa State, Kansas State and Missouri.
Iowa currently has three players committed to its 2020 recruiting class.
