Ohio running back Kay’Ron Adams has tough decision ahead
By Tyler Devine
IOWA CITY, Iowa – Until Monday afternoon, three-star running back Kay'Ron Adams was gearing up to sign his letter of intent with Rutgers during the early signing period for football recruits Dec. 19-21.
The 2019 prospect now has a few things to think about after receiving a scholarship offer from Iowa.
Adams now is planning to take an official visit to Iowa this weekend.
"It feels good to know that other schools would like to give me an opportunity to play at their school," Adams said. "It doesn't make me rethink my decision much it just gives me something to think and talk about with my family."
If the 5-foot-9, 192-pound Adams were to flip his commitment to Iowa, he would join fellow three-star prospect and Suwanee, Ga. native Tyler Goodson at running back in Iowa's 2019 recruiting class.
"(I want to see) if I like it or if I can see myself being there," Adams said. "I'm looking to see if it could be a good fit."
Adams also has scholarship offers from Akron, Ball State, Bowling Green, Cincinnati, Eastern Kentucky, Kent State, Miami (Ohio), Ohio, Toledo, Western Kentucky and Western Michigan.
Iowa currently has 16 players committed to its 2019 recruiting class.
