Another huge list of visitors for junior day in Iowa City

IOWA CITY, Iowa – The Iowa football team will be hosting its second junior day event of 2019 in Iowa City this weekend.

Roughly 50 recruits will be visiting Iowa, including a couple of local names that will be familiar with Hawkeye fans.

Tiffin native T.J. Bollers and Bettendorf native Griffin Liddle will both be taking visits this weekend.

Both 2021 recruits have visited Iowa multiple times and have been extended scholarship offers by the Hawkeyes.

The 6-foot-4, 227-pound Bollers' father, Trevor Bollers, played football at Iowa under Hayden Fry in the 1990's.

T.J. Bollers recently told Allhawkeyes.com that he's visited Iowa enough to where the coaching staff is no longer trying to make different pitches, rather it is trying to make him feel at home.

"Really when I'm there they're not trying to pitch me anymore," T.J. Bollers said. "I've been there a bunch and when I'm there they're trying to show me the culture and make me feel welcome and a part of the program."
