AH TV: Iowa players look to bounce back at Wisconsin on Thursday
IOWA CITY, Iowa – The Iowa basketball players held a team meeting with their coaches on Monday just to make sure that everybody still was connected as they enter the final week of the regular season.
Iowa has lost three of its last four games and now faces a huge challenge on Thursday against Wisconsin at the Kohl Center in Madison, Wis. The Badgers defeated Iowa 72-66 in the Big Ten opener on Nov. 30th at Carver-Hawkeye Arena and now have a chance for the season sweep on Senior Day.
Here are multiple interviews with Iowa players, including junior point guard Jordan Bohannon, who made a game-winning shot at the Kohl Center two years ago. Bohannon also has two older brothers who played for Wisconsin, so Jordan always looks forward to this matchup.
Bohannon also addressed the team meeting with the media on Tuesday.
"I think we're just staying connected," Bohannon said. "Nothing really to it. Nothing new being said. It wasn't a big deal or anything."
Freshman Joe Wieskamp also talked about the physical and mental strain from playing his first season at the collegiate level.
