IOWA CITY, Iowa – St. Louis running back Arlen Harris has visited Iowa more times than any other school.
The 2022 prospect’s latest visit was to Iowa’s 26-20 homecoming victory over Purdue last Saturday, and it doesn’t appear to be the last.
“I keep going back because I can see myself having a future at Iowa,” Harris said. “I want to build a relationship with the coaches and staff there. I also want to just keep learning more and more about the school and what I like and don’t.
“I feel like I can fit in that offense and be successful there. But overall it’s just a great school.”
Harris boasts scholarship offers from Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa State, Kansas, Michigan State, Minnesota, Nebraska, Purdue and Vanderbilt.
The 5-foot-10, 175-pound Harris said he is currently favoring Louisiana State and Notre Dame, along with Iowa, Illinois, Nebraska and Purdue.
“I can’t tell yet which school is at the very top, but Iowa is definitely one of my favorites,” Harris said.
Iowa currently has one player committed to its 2022 recruiting class in Gowrie, Iowa defensive lineman Aaron Graves.
The 6-foot-4, 230-pound Graves committed to Iowa in June.
