The 6-foot-3, 290-pound Myslinski verbally committed to Texas last August but reopened his commitment before the early signing period in December.
Myslinksi visited Iowa City last July but could only check out campus on his own due to NCAA restrictions on in-person recruiting amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
While in Iowa City, Myslinski met up with Colby, who is a native of Cedar Rapids.
Myslinski also had Power Five scholarship offers from Maryland, Michigan State, Arkansas, Florida State, Illinois and Oregon, among others.
