IOWA CITY, Iowa – Cody Fox wasted little time deciding that he wanted to be a Hawkeye.

The 2024 offensive lineman out of Winthrop, Iowa, announced his commitment to the Hawkeyes on Saturday via Twitter less than a month after receiving a scholarship offer.

The 6-foot-4, 265-pound Fox is the younger brother of current redshirt sophomore walk-on lineman Taylor Fox.

Cody Fox is the first player to commit to Iowa’s 2024 recruiting class.
