IOWA CITY, Iowa – Cam Buffington still has three years left of high school, but the Winfield, Iowa, native already knows where he’s going to play college football.

The 2024 prospect announced his commitment to the Hawkeyes on Monday after a weekend visit to Iowa City.

Iowa extended a scholarship to the 6-foot-3, 200-pound Buffington in June.

He joins Winthrop, Iowa, offensive lineman Cody Fox in the class.

Fox’s brother, Taylor, is a current member of the Iowa football team.

According to Rivals.com, Iowa was the only scholarship offer for Buffington.
