IOWA CITY, Iowa – Don Patterson addressed a number of football-related topics during his usual Monday appearance on the Hawk Fanatic radio show and podcast.

The former Iowa offensive coordinator under Hayden Fry broke down last Saturday’s 27-23 victory over Minnesota and looked ahead to this coming Saturday’s home finale against Illinois, which is coached by former Hawkeye Bret Bielema.

Patterson also talked about Iowa’s chance of winning the Big Ten West Division, and about Iowa’s 1981 Rose Bowl team that was honored during the Minnesota game.
