Iowa lands another 2024 offensive lineman from Illinois
Arlington Heights native Will Nolan commits to Iowa
IOWA CITY, Iowa – The Iowa football team continues to have success with recruiting offensive linemen from the state of Illinois.
Will Nolan is the third 2024 offensive lineman from Illinois to pick Iowa as he announced his commitment to Iowa via Twitter on Monday.
He joins Illinois offensive linemen Josh Janowski and Bodey McCaslin as members of Iowa’s 2024 recruiting class.
Nolan, who is from Arlington Heights, Illinois, is listed at 6-foot-6 and 270-pounds, and as a three-star recruit by 247Sports.
He picked Iowa over scholarship offers from Minnesota, Illinois, Indiana and Syracuse among other schools.
Nolan is expected to play offensive tackle in college.
Veteran recruiting analyst Tom Lemming lives in the Chicago area and is very familiar with the three Illinois offensive linemen that have committed to Iowa’s 2024 recruting class.
Lemming speaks highly of Nolan and ranks him as a four-star recruit.
“Outstanding tackle prospect,” Lemming said in a text message. “Great size, very athletic, long reach, good technique and work habits. One of the best tackle prospects in the Midwest.”
Iowa now has 11 verbal commitments in its 2024 recruiting class, including four offensive lineman.
Cody Fox, a four-star offensive lineman from East Buchanon, is the one offensive lineman in the class who isn’t from Illinois.
McCaslin committed to Iowa this past Wednesday.
