IOWA CITY, Iowa – Don Patterson made his usual Monday appearance during football season and addressed multiple topics, including, of course, this coming Saturday’s matchup between Iowa and Michigan in the Big Ten Championship game.
The game will be played at Lucas Oli Stadium in Indianapolis.
Michigan is currently a 22.5 favorite, but Patterson explains why he thinks Iowa has a legitimate shot of pulling off the upset.
Patterson was an assistant coach under Hayden Fry at Iowa for 20 seasons, including the last 10 as offensive coordinator, and he also was the head coach for Western Illinois from 1999 to 2009.
His segment stars at the beginning of the two-hour podcast and lasts for approximately one hour.
