Big Ten Championship postgame after offensive woes hurt Hawkeyes once more in 26-0 loss to Michigan
By Dallas Jones
INDIANAPOLIS, INDIANA – This season will live in infamy for Iowa football as one of the best defensive units in the country was once again let down by the struggles of Brian Ferentz and the Hawkeye offense in their 26-point defeat Saturday night.
The Michigan Wolverines on paper were the best team the Hawkeyes have faced off against this season, but the Hawkeye defense held strong for all four quarters and held the Wolverines to their lowest total yardage of the season.
It simply did not matter as the Hawkeyes turned the ball over three times and totaled only 155 yards on offense.
Afterwards, players from the Hawkeye football team met with media to talk about today’s game, the highs & lows of the season, preparing for their bowl game and more.
