Hawk Fanatic podcast: Don Patterson talks Hawkeye football and more
IOWA CITY, Iowa – Insight and observations from Don Patterson is always a good way to start the week and that’s what this podcast provides.
Patterson, a former offensive coordinator under Hayden Fry at Iowa, made his usual Monday appearance during football season and he looks back at Iowa’s 26-0 loss to Michigan in the Big Ten Championship game and forward to Iowa’s matchup against Tennessee in the 2024 Citrus Bowl.
Patterson also shares his thoughts on the four teams that made the college playoff and on the controversial decision to leave undefeated Florida Ste out of the four-team field.
Patterson was also the head coach for Western Illinois from 1999 to 2009.
We always looks forward to his unique insight.
His segment starts at the beginning of the two-hour podcast and lasts for about 70 minutes.
