Hawk Fanatic podcast: Don Patterson, Brad Heinrichs make guest appearances
IOWA CITY, Iowa – It was a content-filled Hawk Fanatic radio show and podcast on Wednesday as Don Patterson and Brad Heinrichs both made guest appearances.
Patterson, a former Iowa offensive coordinator under Hayden Fry, and a former Western Illinois head coach, addresses multiple topics, including his breakdown of the Citrus Bowl matchup between Iowa and Tennessee on New Year’s Day in Orlando, Florida.
He also shares his thoughts on Kirk Ferentz’s search for a new offensive coordinator, and even offers an intriguing name as a possible candidate.
Patterson’s segment starts at the beginning of the two-hour podcast and lasts for about 55 minutes.
Brad Heinrichs, who is the CEO of the Iowa Swarm collective, then joins the show about 10 minutes after Patterson’s segment and updates the progress being made in raising NIL money.
He also talks about the waiver that was recently granted to Iowa linebacker Nick Jackson, which would allow him to return for a sixth season.
