IOWA CITY, IOWA – The entire sports world tuned into Carver-Hawkeye Arena Thursday night and for good reason.
Once again, Caitlin Clark cemented herself into the record books, this one as important as any. As she became the NCAA scoring leader in women’s basketball, surpassing current Las Vegas Aces star Kelsey Plum.
On top of that, she also put up 49 points in the game. A new record for Carver-Hawkeye Arena and the program as a whole.
There were tears, cheers, and everything in between on Thursday. Here you can check out Clark’s reaction, a commemorative video from the marketing department, postgame interviews and more.
