Iowa women vs. Toledo game preview
IOWA CITY, Iowa – The Iowa women’s basketball team returns home on Wednesday to face Toledo, and with a chance to start 3-0 under new head coach Jan Jensen.
Iowa defeated Northern Illinois and Virginia Tech in the first two games by scores of 91-73 and 71-52, respectively.
The Virginia Tech game was played this past Sunday in Charlotte, N.C. as part of the ally Tipoff.
Wednesday’s game against Toledo game will tip off at 6 p.m. (CT) and will broadcast on the BTN.
Villanova transfer Lucy Olsen led Iowa in scoring in the first two with 19 and 20 points, respectively.
Junior center Addi O’Grady made all nine of her field-goal attempts and finished with 18 points in the win over Virginia Tech.
