2027 Wisconsin guard Jada Seubert commits to Iowa women’s basketball

IOWA CITY, Iowa – The Iowa women’s basketball team has received its first verbal commitment from a player in the 2027 recruiting class as Wisconsin guard Jada Seubert announced her commitment Saturday on social media.
The 5-foot-10 Stevens Point native is rated as the No. 66 player in the country by Girls Prep Hoops, and No. 40 in her class by 247Sports.
She picked Iowa over reported scholarship offers from Iowa State, Notre Dame Nebraska, Michigan, Kansas, Oklahoma State among others.
This past season, Seubert averaged 24 points, 4.9 rebounds, 4.8 assists and 4.3 steals per game.
Iowa has one player singed to its 2026 recruiting class, and she is highly regarded; five-star forward McKenna Woliczko, who attends Archbishop Mitty High School in San Jose, California.
Seubert is ranked as a four-star prospect.
