IOWA CITY, Iowa – The Iowa men’s basketball team earned a No. 9 seed in the 2026 NCAA Tournament under first-year head coach Ben McCollum and will face eight-seed Clemson in the first round Friday in Tampa Florida.

McCollum and select Iowa players met with the media shortly after the brackets were announced to discuss Iowa’s 30th NCAA Tournament appearance in program history.
