IOWA CITY, Iowa – Former Hawkeye Teagan Mallegni will return to her home state of Wisconsin to continue her college basketball career.
The McFarland, Wisconsin native committed to the Wisconsin Badgers on Sunday.
Mallegni is the second former Iowa player to commit to Wisconsin, joining freshman guard Addie Deal, who committed on April 13, and she has since signed a letter of intent.
Mallegni, a 6-foot-1 small forward/shooting guard, only appeared in 15 games as a sophomore this past season as she battled with multiple health issues.
She was a part of a five-player recruiting class in 2024, but only two of those players are still on the Iowa roster – center Ava Heiden and guard Taylor Stremlow, both of whom will be juniors net season.
