Former Iowa forward Hannah Stuelke signs with professional team in Italy

IOWA CITY, Iowa – Former Iowa women’s basketball player Hannah Stuelke is headed to Italy to launch her professional career.
The 6-foot-2 Cedar Rapids native has signed an overseas contract with Italy’s Serie A1 side Broni.
Stuelke finished her college career ranked 14th on Iowa’s all-time scoring with list 1,565) career points, and fifth in rebounds (910). She is just fourth Hawkeye in program history to record 1,550-plus points and 900-plus rebounds.
Stuelke earned second-team All-Big Ten honors as a sophomore, junior and senior, and she also played a key role for Iowa’s NCAA runner-up teams in 2023 and 2024.
Despite her success as a Hawkeye, Stuelke was not selected in the 2026 WNBA Draft.
However, she still could eventually make a WNBA roster if she performs well overseas.
