IOWA CITY, Iowa – North Texas Head Coach and Iowa City native Dan McCarney joined the AllHawkeyes.com/KCJJ podcast Wednesday morning, Sept. 23, 2015. He told great stories about growing up in Iowa City, playing at Iowa, coaching with the Hawkeyes and current head coach, Kirk Ferentz, and what it will be like bringing his team to Kinnick Stadium Saturday. He also detailed an incident in the early 1980s when the Iowa staff dealt with death threats to legendary coach Hayden Fry.
