IOWA CITY, Iowa – Hawkeye fans are frustrated in the wake of Tuesday’s 81-78 loss to Indiana at Carver-Hawkeye Arena.

The same Iowa men’s basketball team that climbed to as high as third in the national polls barely a month ago has now lost four games in row and five of its last six games.

Indiana won the Big Ten regular-season title outright with Tuesday’s victory. Iowa hasn’t done that since 1970.

Iowa coach Fran McCaffery said after the game that he feels his team has turned the corner and is moving back in the right direction. Iowa fans don’t seem as optimistic.
