IOWA CITY, Iowa – Iowa football coach Kirk Ferentz met with the media on Tuesday to discuss spring practice, which starts inon Wednesday.

Ferentz addressed a number of topics, including trying to sustain success and stay hungry after finishing 12-2 and winning the Big Ten West Division this past season. Ferentz also talked about the health of all-Big Ten quarterback C.J. Beathard following sports hernia surgery in January and about Drew Ott’s medical hardship appeal, which is now dragging on four months.
