AH Week 10 picks; Michigan by a lot
IOWA CITY, Iowa – Our three-person panel, which includes guest picker Tom Suter from KCJJ radio, all agree that the Iowa football team will lose by at least three touchdowns to second-ranked Michigan on Saturday.
The Wolverines are favored by 20 points and all three of our pickers have them winning by at least 21 points, led by Tyler Devine's 38-point margin of victory.
We also agree that Michigan State will defeat Rutgers in the epic battle for Big Ten basement surpremacy.
Pat Harty
Michigan 31, Iowa 10: Jim Harbaugh tries the popcorn at Kinnick Stadium and quickly realizes that he can eat better from stuff that his own body produces.
Nebraska 13, Minnesota 12: Tracy Claeys deals with the loss by reminding himself that he has a talking dog.
Michigan State 17, Rutgers 10: No to disrespect to any of the Michigan State players, but Big Ten commissioner Jim Delay should be rewarded with the game ball for adding Rutgers to the conference.
Arkansas 25, Lousiana State 21: Bret Bielema helps his team's cause by eating LSU star running back Leonard Fournette before the game.
Washington 31, Southern Californa 23: The Huskies move a step closer to having a chance to lose to Alabama in the four-team college playoff.
Tyler Devine
Michigan 52, Iowa 14: After demolishing Iowa at Kinnick Stadium, Jim Harbaugh exclaims "I'll eat whatever I want" during his postgame press conference.
Minnesota 17, Nebraska 14: Much to everyone's surprise, Tracy Claeys does a triple backflip at midfield after Minnesota's last-second field goal puts them in prime position in the Big Ten West.
Michigan State 13, Rutgers 10: I can't decide if this is going to be a defensive struggle or an offensive struggle, so I'm going with defense. Unlike the NFL, someone has to actually win this game.
Louisiana State 21, Arkansas 17: Leonard Fournette dishes out several concussions on his way to a 250-yard performance.
Washington 38, Southern California 24: Purple is the color of Prince. Go Huskies.
Tom Suter (KCJJ general manager)
Michigan 34, Iowa 10: I hope Kirk makes one more call to the cavalry. We could use the help
Nebraska 34, Minnesota 27: The fight for runner-up in the West division will be a good one. If Tommy is healthy, Nebraska will win a close one.
Michigan State 27, Rutgers 10: Neither has won a Big Ten game yet so something has to give.
Louisiana State 24, Arkansas 21: I think Bielema has eaten Les Miles. This will be a good one.
Washington 45, Southern California 35: The Trojans are on a roll but so are the Huskies. This is Washington's year.
