AH podcast: Don Patterson breaks down the Minnesota victory and looks ahead to Ohio State
IOWA CITY, Iowa – Don Patterson made his usual Monday appearance on the AllHawkeyes podcast and to say there was plenty to discuss would be an understatement.
In addition to looking back at Saturday's 17-10 victory over Minnesota and ahead to this coming Saturday's game against Ohio State at Kinnick Stadium, Patterson also addressed the Brian Ferentz controversy.
Brian Ferentz is in his first season as the Iowa offensive coordinator for his father Kirk Ferentz. Brian unleashed a profanity-laced tirade in the Kinnick Stadium press box at halftime of the Minnesota game. He was upset at the replay official for reviewing a play in which Iowa running back James Butler had fumbled. Butler was ruled down at first, but the call was reversed by the replay official.
Kirk Ferentz addressed the incident during his post-game press conference on Saturday, saying that kind of behavior is unprofessional and unacceptable.
Patterson agrees with Kirk Ferentz and explained why during this 40-minute interview
