IOWA CITY, Iowa – Former Iowa defensive lineman Tyler Luebke was our guest on Wednesday's KCJJ/Allhawkeyes radio hour.
He spent the entire hour with us and addressed a number of topics, including this coming Saturday's game against third-ranked Ohio State at Kinnick Stadium. Luebke was a starting defensive tackle on the last Iowa team to defeat Ohio State in 2004. The Hawkeyes won that game 33-7 at Kinnick Stadium.
Luebke also addressed the Brian Ferentz press box incident and shared some stories about his days as a Hawkeye playing alongside Matt Roth, Jonathan Babineaux and Derreck Robinson on the defensive line.
We also did our usual drifting to topics that include food and music. Luebke has his own smoker and is known to produce some tasty meals.
We always enjoy it when Tyler joins our show and think you will, too. So give it a listen.
