AH TV: Kirk Ferentz, Iowa players talk about Pinstripe Bowl selection
IOWA CITY, Iowa – There is no such thing as a bad bowl game.
Iowa head coach Kirk Ferentz and his players certainly expressed that sentiment multiple times while meeting with the media on Sunday.
Iowa (7-5) accepted a bid to play Boston College (7-5) in the Pinstripe Bowl on Dec. 27 at Yankee Stadium in New York City. The game will be the first meeting between the two schools.
The game also holds extra meaning to Iowa's senior class because, as it has never won a bowl game at Iowa and hopes to end its five-game bowl losing streak.
Iowa's last bowl victory was against Missouri in the 2010 Insight Bowl.
