IOWA CITY, Iowa – Iowa offensive coordinator Brian Ferentz met with the media on Wednesday in a zoom conference and addressed multiple topics, including the quarterback situation.

Brian Ferentz said a final decision still hasn’t been made on who will start at quarterback against Illinois on Saturday. He also addressed a recent tweet by Iowa junior receiver Tyrone Tracy Jr. in which Tracy compared himself to a Swiss Army knife not being used properly.

The tweet was deleted shortly after it was posted, but it was posted long enough to have caused a reaction from Iowa fans.

Tracy only has 15 catches for 106 yards and one touchdown in 10 games this season. He is also listed behind true freshman Keagan Johnson on the depth chart at receiver.
