Hawk Fanatic week 11 predictions
IOWA CITY, Iowa – With only two games left in the regular season, the Iowa football team still has a chance to win the Big Ten West Division title.
Iowa and Wisconsin are currently tied for first place with 5-2 records, although, the Badgers have the tiebreaker to their advantage after having defeated Iowa this season.
So, Iowa doesn’t control its own destiny heading into Saturday’s home finale against Illinois, but still has a chance to win the division for the first time since 2015.
Iowa (8-2) needs to take care of its own business, and hope that either Nebraska or Minnesota can defeat the Badgers.
Pat Harty
Iowa 23, Illinois 12: Kirk Ferentz shows that he is capable of thinking way outside the box by starting Tyler Linderbaum at quarterback and Alex Padilla at center.

Wisconsin 24, Nebraska 17: Scott Frost blames the loss on the World Wide Web and on Tickle Me Elmo from Sesame Street, saying that Nebraska hasn’t been the same in football since they were both invented in the 1990s.
Oklahoma 34, Iowa State 31: Even in defeat, Cyclone fans storm the streets of Ames to pay tribute to having the best five-loss team from a Power Five conference.

Iowa 35, Illinois 10: Completely unwilling to make a decision between Alex Padilla and Spencer Petras, Kirk Ferentz creates a Frankenstein monster created from the two quarterbacks that throws for three touchdowns and runs for another.
Michigan State 27, Ohio State 24: Mel Tucker seems like kind of a badass.
Wisconsin 17, Nebraska 13: As I always say, I refuse to pick Nebraska to win a game.
Oklahoma 42, Iowa State 24: Matt Campbell is too busy searching for real estate near one of the 18 coaching jobs he’s been linked to and doesn’t have time to prepare for this game.
Wake Forest 24, Clemson 21: Never in a million years did I think we would include a game involving Wake Forest in our game predictions.

Iowa 27, Illinois 6: This is still the same Illinois team that put up 92 yards of offense against Wisconsin. Padilla is a man on a mission.
Michigan State 34, Ohio State 31: I am really tired of seeing OSU in the playoff every year. Kenneth Walker Jr. still needs that Heisman too.
Nebraska 35, Wisconsin 28: The one time Iowa fans will be cheering for the Huskers.
Iowa State 28, Oklahoma 24: Even though they may not deserve it, I just want this win for State fans.
Wake Forest 42, Clemson 30: Wake Forest winning games is just good for the sport.
