IOWA CITY, Iowa – Former Hawkeye two-sport star Tim Dwight and current South Dakota State linebacker Adam Bock both were guests on Friday’s Hawk Fanatic radio show and podcast.

Dwight, a former football and track standout at Iowa in the mid-1990s, addressed multiple topics, including being a father, his work in the solar energy business and his celebrated time as a Hawkeye and as a Little Hawk for Iowa City High.

Dwight was a concnsus All-Ameria return specialist at Iowa as a senior in 1997 and he would go on to play for a decade in the NFL. He is also Iowa’s third all-time leading receiver with 2,271 yards on 139 receptions.

Dwight appears about 30 minutes into the two-hour podcast and his interview lasts for approximately 40 minutes.

Bock, who is from Solon, talks about the much-anticipated season opener between Iowa and South Dakota State on Sept. 3 at Kinnick Stadium.

Bock grew up cheering for the Hawkeyes, so as he said in the interview, it’ll feel strange walking on to the field from the visitor’s lockerroom.

Bock also talks about growing up with former Iowa All-America center Tyler Linderbaum and about the influence Linderbaum had on him on and off the playing field.

Both were multi-sport stars at Solon High School.

Linderbaum is now a center for the Baltimore Ravens after having been selected in the first round of the 2022 NFl draft this past April.

We appreciate Tim Dwight and Adam Bock both taking time from their busy schedules to be interviewed.

We really enjoyed both interviews and think you will, too.
