Hawk Fanatic podcast: Don Patterson looks back at the Music City Bowl, and at the 2022 season
IOWA CITY, Iowa – The Iowa football team defeated Kentucky 21-0 in the Music City Bowl this past Saturday in Nashville, Tennessee to cap an 8-5 season.
Former Iowa offensive coordinator Don Patterson looks backs at Iowa’s win in the bowl game and gives his insight on what he feels Iowa needs to do to fix its sputtering offense that barely had 200 yards in the Music City Bow, and was 0-for-11 on third-down plays.
Patterson was our guest on Monday’s throughout the football season and we greatly appreciate his contributions, and his unique insight as a former college coach.
He was also the head coach at Western Illinois from 1999 to 2009.
Don will make one final appearance to cap the entire 2022 season a week from this coming Wednesday in a rare Wednesday appearance.
