Hawk Fanatic Week 8 predictions
IOWA CITY, Iowa – To show respect and loyalty, we stayed within the Big Ten Conference for this week’s five games in case you’re wondering why we have such a sorry slate of games.
So let’s just get right to it.
Pat Harty
Iowa 11, Minnesota 4: I’ll be eagerly waiting for the Iowa Sports Information Department to announce if Iowa has ever won by this score before.
Ohio State 24, Penn State 21: I’ll be eagerly waiting to see if James Franklin points out that Ohio State, even in victory, also didn’t meet the 25-point point performance incentive in Brian Ferentz’s contract.
Illinois 21, Wisconsin 20: Probably time for Luke Fickell to consider coaching without wearing socks.
Michigan 34, Michigan State 17: Jim Harbaugh moves another step closer to coaching the Chicago Bears, so you wonder if he already has people in the stands watching all of Chicago’s 2024 opponents.
Rutgers 28, Indiana 27: Tom Allen moves another stop closer to not coaching the Hoosiers.
Last week: 3-2
Overall: 24-11

Wisconsin 14 at Illinois 11: Just when I thought it couldn’t get worse……
